K.C. Blau is an American writer of fiction and historical fiction novels on women of turn-of-the-century Vienna and modern women traveling the world. She is a certified German-English translator and holds a BA from the American University in Washington DC and an MFA from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. In addition she has completed post graduate studies at the University of Vienna and dabbled a bit in Chinese studies at the Beijing Language and Cultural University in China. Women and Wild Savages is the first book in her Vienna Muses series about Lina Loos, the young wife of world-famous architect, Adolf Loos. Currently she is completing the first book in her international thriller series about a young woman backpacking in Southeast Asia.
